Lush Hair Marshmallows shampoo

I became familiar with these at the 2018 Lush Creative Showcase.

I have recorded a sink demo for you, it shows me shampooing my hair at the sink with the black one.

I explain each one in detail in my video.

Here is a photo of all four by Daniel_james_campbell on Instagram

Sleepy toothy tabs

I stumbled upon these Sleepy toothy tabs along side the tooth fairy (Snow Fairy) toothy tabs and other toothy tabs on display at the 2018 Lush Creative Showcase.

I was told by the creator of these new toothy tabs that they are still working on the formula for flavoring in the sleepy tabs because a direct translation of the sleepy/twilight scent isnt as tasty, so tweaking the lavender so it didnt taste too soapy by adding more vanilla along with the lavender and other components to produce a nice scent and a nice taste. i thought both the sleepy and the tooth fairy were AWESOME!

Black Rose

Not to be confused with a different lush product, the black rose lip balm.

5 out of 5 rating See my Tub Demo Video at the bottom of this page.

Exclusive to the new Lush Japan Harajuku shop, this and five other exclusive bath bombs were given to me by Jack Constantine at the Creative Showcase.

Black Rose was made with the Lush Rose Jam scent.

The more recent 2018 design of black rose below. there are no metallic red cocoa butter tips, instead there are shadings of purple on the tips.

This is the original Black Rose photos below. The bath bomb is black with irridescent red metallic coco butter tips, and has gunmetal grey silver glitter.

Someone at the Creative Showcase got the iron on patch of Black Rose below for me! 🥺😲😍👏🏼❤️

This made in the Lush Rose Jam scent, which is popular sweet candyish rose scent.

Lush has made many things in this scent. Here’s a scent family photo i took below.

This one is a spinner, it moves back and forth in the water while spewing a red purple foam all around.

Here’s a link to my Original Black Rose from Lush Harajuku store. look at that end water with black and silver sparkles!

Here’s a link to my video of the ‘new’ black rose.

I Am a Radiant Being bath oil is also the same scent amongst many other similar rose jam scented products.

Sleepy shower bomb

Wow. I’m going to give this a 5 out of 5.

Its not gimmicky, its a creamy foam consistency.

I pressed very hard on it when it was wet and it didn’t budge.  It’s not a ‘smooshy’ consistency. It’s firm, but what comes off of it slowly is foam.  It’s kind of like washing with the foam of a bath bomb, one of the creamier frothier bath bombs though.

This is nothing like their body conditioners, there’s no slippery, or goopy stuff in here.  No cocoa butter,  no oils.

Nor is this at all like their naked shower gels.

It doesn’t feel like it has cocoa butter in it (it doesn’t), and it smells good. It’s not too faint of a scent, but its not necessarily the strongest scented product either.

Its made with the Twilight scent.

It seems like one could certainly get multiple showers with this.  At LEAST two, maybe more.

I do a wet demo of this in my video below both in the shower and at the sink.

Lush Moods

On August 24 Lush Uk will introduce some new products under the title ‘Lush Moods’, in their stores.

Some of the things they’ll start selling at that time in uk stores include:

Vanillary body spray

Magic body scrub

Scrub Scrub Scrub

I’m not clear at this time if the new Lush Labs Shower bombs and packageless Atmospgere gels will be part of the store items or not. Ill be adding the new Atmosphere gels that i bought here on my blog in the next 24 hours

I’m also not clear on if lush plan on selling these on line or not.

Lemon bubble brush

3 out of 5 rating

Lemon bubble brush is one of three new re-usable style bubble bars from Lush. While i dont normally like the reusables as much as Lush regular squishy bubble bars, these new bubble brushes are fun to use!

This is the yellow bubble brush new for 2018. Unlike its blue and pink counterparts this one smells lemony. It has the same scent as Lush ‘Lemslip’ buttercream. Its made with lime, and sweet orange oil.

It’s not very sweet. In fact i wish it were more sweet. And honestly, i wish it smelled stronger.

It leaves a bright, sunny yellow hue to the bath water.

I like to blend it with the blue bubble brush sometimes.

I like the mint and candy bubble brushes more than this yellow lemon one because the scents and colors are nicer to me. Just a personal preference.

I liked using it but i wouldn’t necessarily buy another one. Whereas i would buy anothrr blue one.

– Cream of tartar creates a super bubbly bath.

– Synthetic musk offers a sweet and lingering fragrance.

How to store: Leave your brush to dry on the side ready for your next work of art.

while the re-usable bubble bars are not my favorite…these new bubble brushes are fun. The re-usable consistency lends itself very well to these ‘brushes’ shape.

The Candy bubble brush is my second favorite bubble brush.

Candy bubble brush is made with the Lush ‘Candy Fluff’ scent. synthetic musk is used in this because in order to use real musk the animal is killed.

i like this one because the scent is sweet and nice like some kind of pink candy.

Heres a video i made where i demo all of the bubble brushes including the Pink Candy bubble brush

I can use it by itself to make a pink color or i sometimes like to mix colors as below

Can’t decide which one to go for? As the saying goes – different strokes for different folks, which is why there’s a palette of three colours to Picasso from (but it wouldn’t Erté to try them all). Candy Bubble Brush creates a vibrant pink with a sweet candy fluff scent that will have you coming back for more.

Pink Petigrain

2 out of 5 rating

This is the most bitter thing I’ve ever smelled in a long time.

I wanted to like this because its so pretty.

Pink petigrain bubble bar is supposed to share its scent with the Lush madame president bath bomb. Grapefruit and petigrain.

Firstly, i LOVE the scent of Madame President. I bought six of them.

Secondly, i HATE the scent of this Pink Petigrain blossom. When i got it out of my package my eyes lit up because of the pretty coral color and the flower shape.

But i recoiled back when my nose smelled it. I said to myself ‘There is NO WAY my petigrain flower smells like madame president bath bomb’.

Maybe because some things melted in my order the scents combined strangely? Dunno.

I have both Madame President bomb & Pink Petitgrain blossom bubnle bar side by side. NO.

I don’t know if i got a bad one or what

Did my nose just all of a sudden after 17 years just say ‘April, i’m done.’? I’m not sure, but suffice it to say i dont like the bitter, unpleasant smell of this bubble bar, and i won’t be buying another one. I had to use something else with it because i couldnt stand the smell. How odd. I havent had a reaction to a lush product in quite sometime. But i guess i cant like them all. *Shrug*

Your mileage may vary.

Description

For a couple of hours, lay back and indulge in pink waters covered in soft, fluffy bubbles. Calming petitgrain oil works its wonders on worries and cares, the woody scent evoking images of summer walks through citrus groves. Meanwhile, refreshing grapefruit oil lifts moods high above the clouds of the day, bringing with it memories of breakfasts taken on warm, sunlit verandas. Hold this flower under running water and let it spin and build bubbles before breathing deeply and allowing yourself to be transported away on a cheerful, summer breeze.

New products coming?

found this on Instagram.

As usual I’ll add more as I get it. My commentary on it below. 😊♥️

here are the Halloween & Christmas products!

Regarding the new regular products, I for one would LOVE a here comes the sun liquid shower gel. I even liked the naked version so I know a liquid version would be HEAVEN. I did a Video Review and close up sink demo of naked Here Comes the Sun Shower Gel. It has the same scent as Lush ‘Brightside’ bubble bar.

Milky bar soap used to be around before, it’s not new, but whatever 😉 my review of it is below.

Mostly…I Cannot WAIT until the full Ectoplasm line.

The first second I unboxed TreeD bath oil and Ectoplasm and sniffed them I stated to my friends on Facebook and Mark C that a perfume would be a huge hit. I’m so so glad about this. And there may or may not be a shower creme of Ectoplasm coming for Halloween. Go to my Ectoplasm page for more specifics but it’s a different kind of citrus scent. No really, it’s really different. It’s got a very bright note in it. To my nose anyway, it’s neither lemony nor orangey, but not exactly lime either. More like grapefruit, with some litsea cubeba or something close to that.

And an Ectoplasm washcard, which is a great way to try something without spending that much money. If you’d like to see a close up sink demo of a lush washcard, I have one here .

It looks like lush will be offering a different kind of single sized soap if I’m understanding it correctly. Interesting that they’re re-incorporating pre packaged soaps. They used to sell them like that and they had pretty designs on them. We shall see how these fare.

I have the Ros Argan naked body conditioner. I’ll demo and review that, and the rub rub rub naked body conditioner as soon as I can. I’m glad they’re bringing out this naked Ro’s. It’s the ONLY naked product I like more than it’s liquid version.

I’m also glad lush might be bringing back whipstick. It used to be called ‘chocolate whipstick’ and is the same scent as ‘heavenly bodies’ buttercream and ‘Sonic Death Monkey’ shower gel. It has more of a sweet orange scent with a wee bit of cocoa.

Hmm..What do you think about the charity pot naked body lotion you guys? I don’t know that I would she’ll out the money for this one without seeing how others like it first.

redients: Water (Aqua), Propylene Glycol, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Soya Milk, Sweet Orange Oil, Patchouli Oil, Synthetic Musk, Sodium Chloride, Glycerine, Perfume.

This is a very nice and different layering of scents. A subtle soapy, floral perfume on top with an orange oil undertone and a hot milk or caramel-y type of scent in there too.

Lush makes a bubble bar in this same scent. This is a glycerine soap, and this soap also seemed to dissolve faster too. I think everyone should try this once. I believe that Lush sold this soap when they were a company called “CTG”. There’s something about this soap that makes one want to have it again. It smells comforting.

This is a “love it or hate it” soap with lushies, there doesn’t seem to be many in between on this soap.

Lush Times 2006 description: A HUGE favourite: wash to make your skin smell sweet like chocolate. Delicious hand and body soap made with nutritious soya milk and sweet orange oil.

Website: For soft, chocolate-orange flavoured lips. Chocolate Whipstick is made for everyone who can’t have cocoa butter or lanolin in their balms. We make it with a lip-soothing infusion of oats, beautiful almond and wheatgerm oils plus beeswax for waterproofing. If that sounds a bit worthy then worry not; we livened it up with real chocolate, vanilla absolute and orange oil. Delicious and good for you a rare and lovely thing.

This is the same sweet orange and chocolate scent of Sonic deathonkey shower gel and heavenly bodies buttercream.

It’s a thicker lip balm, not so much thin and shiny but more thick and hoppy, more like the consistency of Rose lollipop lip balm from lush.

Ingredients: Oat Milk, Almond Oil, Beeswax, Chocolate, Glycerine, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Shea Butter, Honey, Wheatgerm Oil, Carnauba Wax, Flavour, Sodium Borate, Tangerine Oil, Orange, Vanilla Absolute, Cocoa absolute.

Rocket Science

See my demo video below. This has a bright, lemon citrus fragrance.

What a gorgeous bath bomb. The interesting thing is that this bomb makes various dimensions of things happening. If one were to look at the water one could see layers; multi colored stars on the very bottom.

Then there is a multi-colored chunky glitter layer above the stars.

Then there’s a layer of silvery sparkes  above that.

Then there is the blue, pink and purple colored foam layer from the fizzing bomb.

Gorgeous.

Here’s the 3 minute demo

The smells is nice, but nothing earth shattering. But the looks of this bomb in the water makes up for it.

I give this a 4.5 out of 5 rating.

Creme De Menthe

4 out of 5 rating

Glacially good breath is mint to be. In fact, it’s on the tipple your tongue. Make yours a double shot of mint for an intoxicating blast of icy coolness. Malic acid tickles your tastebuds with a smooth, juicy flavour, and enhances the spicy exhileration of bracing peppermint oil. Not shaken, not stirred: just straight up ice-cool refreshment.

This is my second favorite new Lush mouthwash.  This is the mintiest of the three new Lush mouthwashes.  If you want that classic mouthwash taste, this is the one for you.  It’s entirely minty and leaves a nice clean feeling to my teeth.  It just like using commcercial mouthwash.  I like that this creme de menthe mouthwash has a pretty green shimmer to it. That’s why i give this a 4 out of 5 rating.

After brushing your teeth, pop one tab into the mouth and take a sip of water to start the fizz. Nibble and swish before spitting out. They can also be used throughout the day whenever you fancy a bit or oral refreshment.

The use of a mouthwash should be the final step in the oral routine both in the morning and in the evening. It should not be used alone as a substitute for brushing or flossing. Avoid eating or drinking for half an hour after using the mouthwash for ultimate oral health.

Here’s a demo and review video i made of this creme de mente mouthwash

Twilight jelly

5 out of 5 rating See my close up demo & review video of this jelly below on the page.

The Lush.co.uk site made these ”Twilight” jellies for one day only and I was lucky enough to buy a couple. Lush made this jelly in their popular ‘Twilight’ bath bomb fragrance, which Has Lavender, and a creamy tonka bean note.

I love that Lush made these jellies in pink and blue. They’ve never done this two-color thing with a jelly.  I believe these colors were used because the Twilight Bath bomb emits pink and blue colors while dissolving in the bath.

Lush also makes a “Twilight” shower gel and a perfume that i have in the ‘Twilight’ scent and has made a liquid spray perfume in this scent as well.

An all natural scent of fresh lavender, creamy, vanillary tonka bean, and ylang ylang, coming from fresh ingredients. I got my order on Sept 6.

The Twilight bath bomb

Twilight on the left

To me the Twilight scent is even better in the jelly form.  It’s sweeter, creamier, and a bit more ylang ylang floral than in thr twilight bath bomb or shower gel.  And another plus is that this lovely scent actually stays on the skin a longer than average amount of time. This is great.

Here’s a 6 minute video with music of it close up to see the shimmer. I wash my hands with it and chop it up, etc.

since then lush has made sooo many different oroducts with this scent.

Nightwing shower jelly

See my video demo below 100g 6.95 gpb

While this is Not exactly like the Calacas scent, this scent of Nightwing has a nice, fresh lime scent.

Ingredients:   Fresh Lime Juice and Aloe Vera Gel Decoction  , Carrageenan Extract  , Lime Oil  , Carob Syrup  Red 33 , Blue 1 , Iron Oxides .

For dark nights (Batman the Dark Night get it)

A fang-tastically fruity jelly to put the bite back into bathtime. When the dark night rises, seek the fruity candy-scented salvation of this aloe vera and lime juice jelly and cover yourself in a sweet, carrageenan lather. For an extra stimulating hit, use it fresh from the fridge or freezer. A hint of vitamin E-rich carob syrup delivers extra nourishment to the body and adds to that deliciously fruity perfume.

Here’s a video demo i made of Nightwing jelly

Key Lime Pie

This is a beautiful green lip balm.  This isn’t a lush lip tint so It doesn’t leave any green color on your lips, it goes on clear.  It’s a thinner consistency like passion fruit but it fels nice on the lips.  The taste is good.  And the smell is even better.  It really does smell like Key Lime Pie. I enjoy this.

Limelight toothy tabs

Here’s a video demo/review i made of these Limelight toothy tabs.

Lush description:  Make an Entrance

All the worlds a stage.  Get ready for your big moment with super citrusy lime oil.

File Oct 19, 5 42 36 PM

This has lime, lemon and almond oil.  The shimmery green color is pretty.  While these were pleasant, they’re not my favorite of the 5 new Lush toothy tabs debuting first at Lush Oxford Street store.  As i said in my video it’s not bad, it’s not fabulous, but somewhere in the middle.  I didn’t taste as much lime as i thought i would considering the tastiness of the other toothy tabs i’ve tried. Still it made my mouth feel squeaky clean.

Here’s a video demo i made of Limelight toothy tabs. See my other toothy tab demos: Bling, Oral Pleasure, Tooth Fairy, Miles of Smiles.
