Cream of Tomato Soap

In the photo above you can see that the large, whole truckles of soap are somewhat cylindrical. And Lush would cut a chunk however big or small you wanted.

Tomatoes are full of antioxidants including vitamin C. This property of tomatoes makes them a great fruit for anti-ageing. The acidity in tomatoes helps in reducing and clearing your acne.

In my photo below are three lush soaps clockwise from the left: ‘Zen’ soap, ‘Cream of Tomato’ soap, and ‘Green and Gold’ soap.

This was actually nice smelling and it did smell like tomatoes. I never thought tomatoes smell good but..

In my photo below the cream of tomato is on the upper right next to the box.

It’s a natural scent, not too strong. It was kind of creamy and seemed to be a tiny bit more moisturizing than other Lush soaps.

In my photo below it’s in the lower right.

Here’s a video demo i made of this soap

Kinky Hot Oil Hair Treatment

See my demo video below
6.50 20g

If you want enviously silky, hydrated curls, stick with us. Made with protective lanolin to strengthen natural curls, this restorative treatment delivers intense moisture without diminishing your bounce and volume. With uplifting ylang ylang and rosewood, its exotic fragrance will take your senses for a whirl too.
Place your treatment into a suitable container (we like to use an empty black pot) and pop the kettle on. We recommend taking this opportunity to prepare a nice cup of tea as well!
Slowly add a small amount of hot water to the solid treatment – and begin to stir gently. Take your time, adding water as needed, allowing the product to thicken slowly until you are left with an empty stick and a rich, creamy treatment (this can take around five minutes, just long enough for you to finish your tea!).
Apply to dry hair and leave for around 20 minutes before shampooing, to allow the ingredients to get to work, hydrating and replenishing your crowning glory.

Here’s a demo video i made showing me using Kinky hot oil hair treatment.

Rose Lollipop

5 out of 5 rating

This is so yummy smelling.  And it tastes nice. Most of all i like the thicker consistency.  I have chronic dry lips (I live in the desert) and i need a little extra moisture.  This does the trick well.  My favorite of the four new lip balms from Lush Oxford Street in London.

Key Lime Pie

This is a beautiful green lip balm. ย This isn’t a lush lip tint so It doesn’t leave any green color on your lips, it goes on clear. ย It’s a thinner consistency like passion fruit but it fels nice on the lips. ย The taste is good. ย And the smell is even better. ย It really does smell like Key Lime Pie. I enjoy this.

Something Wicked This Way Comes bath melt

4.5 out of 5 rating

I laid one of my something wicked on top if a squeeze of Ectoplasm shower gel. I love green and purple.

Below are two pics ive taken showing how the purple something wicked melt looks in a green sparkly water made from a green lush bath bomb.4 out of 5 rating

The latest addition to this scent family is an exclusive shower bomb (there two in the picture) made in the Lush Labs 2018.

Something Wicked bath melt

From the title of a Ray Bradbury novel/screenplay/movie.

Review:  Having a real ginger root scent, and not that of Gingerbread.  The ginger is softened by lovely Jasmine and almond oil.  This is a good blend of ginger and jasmine. The oakmoss lending that “spooky’ quality from the story of the same name.  If it’s a fresh Something Wicked bathmelt you can smell the layers of scent, pretty floral, earthy oakmoss,  spicy  ginger.    That said, i wish there were more scent.  I’ve had a few that were stronger and the scent was very nice.  But the weaker scented melts have to be brought up to the nose in order to smell them.

Lush UK also made a Something Wicked Lotion and perfume for forum members only in 2009 or 2010.  It was SO good.

Ingredients: Cocoa Butter, Almond Oil, Perfume, Ginger Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Oakmoss Absolute.

Lush Times 2006 description: Possibly the Queen of our new bath melt selection. Ginger and jasmine envelope you in a sensual haze of soft, warm, welcoming swirls of glittery, moisturising foam. Wicked in every sense of the word.

It makes a GORGEOUS color pattern in the water if it’s a fresh one, as you can see in my photo below.

This is what the Something wicked melt looked like one year only during halloween 2006, with a dark pink red glitter.

Here’s an 8 second video showing my something wicked perfume.

Pooh Stix

See my Tub Demo Video of my Pooh Stix bath bomb below.

This bomb doesn’t color the water.  It’s an old school classic lush bomb from 1998.  It has stick pieces of cinnamon in the bath bomb.  They are supposed to represent a game of throwing six into the river on a bridge in the book Winnie the Pooh’.

This is a fast fizzer in the tub.  It fizzes away quickly.  It smells spicy and licorice-y.  I like black licorice and i love cinnamon.  I’ve used this to perfume the bathroom or my bedroom.  It smells yummy.

Ingredients:
Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Perfume, Pimentoberry Oil, Patchouli Oil, Rosewood Oil, Liquorice Root (Glycyrrhiza blabra), Cinnamon Sticks (Cinnamonum zeylanicum), Aloe Vera Extract (Aloe barbadensis). 200g ยฃ1.50

Spring 1999 UK Lush Times: Those who have read A.A. Milne’s books will know the game, Pooh sticks, invented by the bear of the same name. Each player drops a stick into a stream from one side of the bridge then runs to the other side to see whose stick comes out first. Lush’s Pooh Stix Ballistics contain liquorice root and cinnamon sticks so you and your friends can play your own version in the bath! It is a beige Ballistic, with a lovely scent of heady labdanum, made with aloe vera to nourish the skin.

Spring 2000 UK Lush Times:

Referring, of course, to Winnie the Pooh. When you’ve been out tramping through the Wild Wood, up hill and down dale, exploring, looking for heffalumps or just at work, here’s an easy way to play a version of that famous game at home. Drop a Pooh Stix in your bath, let it dissolve and it will release cinnamon and liquorice sticklets into your bath. All you have to do is whizz your hand under the surface of the water to make the sticklets rush about in exciting ways and form new equally exciting patterns on the water. Hurrah! As an added bonus there’s Aloe Vera — just great for the skin — rosewood, which is said to be balancing and warming, patchouli to banish lethargy, and heady, spicy pimentoberry that warms the emotions and is said to be an aphrodisiac. So during and/or after your bath you can rush about in exciting ways with a close friend just like the sticklets.

Elixir bath melt

This was always a favorite of mine. ย It’s like Ceridwen’s Cauldron bath met, but more exotic smelling. ย It has one of my faovrite spices-Cardamom- and rose petals and ginger oil. ย It was both yummy and gorgeous.

There was also an Elixir bubble bar, which was also beautiful in the bath.

And the blue is ย a limited edition one i got for the Lush Holidays years ago.

Here’s a video (not a demo)

Uluru

5 out of 5 – Video of this in the tub below.

This was wildly popular with Lushies back in it’s day.

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Atlantic Sea Salt (Sodium chloride), Orange Oil (Citrus dulcis), Desert Rosewood Oil (Aniba rosaeordoro), Lemon Myrtle Oil (Myrtus communis), Eastern Sandalwood Oil (Santalum album), Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides), Colour 18050.

Review: This is sexy, incense-y, citrus scent. Uluru has many layers to it’s beauty. It’s feminine, citrussy and bright smelling, then you notice the water is bright pink, then you notice swirls of orange and these two swirling colors mix to form a lovely deep coral colored water.

There’s also the sensual smell of the rose wood (somewhat similar to sandalwood) that wafts up to your nose and makes me say “Mmmm…”. Nice layers to this scent, hence, a wildly popular bath bomb in it’s day. I like the color, it’s an original color like not other ballistic Lush has made.

Lush Times 2004 description: For sheer, breathtaking beauty youโ€™d be hard pressed to beat an Australian desert sunset, with wild pinks and oranges filling the sky as the sun sets over the raw landscape.Attempting to capture this beauty in a Bath Ballistic is something that only the most imaginative (or nutty) of people would attempt. Fortunately, one Mo Constantine is that woman! While her lad was off on his gap year travels in Australia, Mo made the Uluru inspired by a photograph in a book he sent home. Itโ€™s taken a while to get the Ayers Rock perfected as we wanted the exact fragrance to match the wild orange and pink colours. Eventually (and itโ€™s worth the wait, believe us) we arrived at the ideal combination of Australian sandalwood and desert rosewood oils, with lemon myrtle, orange and a bunch of unusual (secret) fragrances to capture the feeling we wanted. Close your eyes and imagine the calming, soothing but uplifting feeling of watching the sun set over the desert; now imagine that recreated in the bath! Those with a lot of imagnation will now want to be buying a few Ayers Rocks to experience the feeling. Those with not much had better buy a few to see what we mean.

Uluru, in Australia, also called Ayer’s rock.

Lush made an exclusive shower gel too on we time.

Fox in the Flowers

Vegan $5.75 6.3oz

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Perfume, Roman Chamomile Flower, Rosebuds, Blue Mallow Flowers, Lime Tree Flowers , Lavender Absolute , Nettle Absolute , Lavendin Absolute ), Chlorophyllin.

Review: The Fox smells like grass when you smell it dry. Once itโ€™s in the tub, itโ€™s green smelling and fresh with a lovely pale green water color. The deep reddish-pink flower buds also help to make it look like a fairy bath.ย ย Someย people thought it was boring and didn’t like all the brown flower bits in the water, that’s probably because it wasn’t fresh. ย ย  I think alot of my pining is because Lush discontinued this so quickly I only got a chance to try two. I would love to try a fresh one again.

Luckily the lush Kitchen online made this in 2014 and 2015.

When it was originally sold some people thought this ballistic was just “meh”. ย  I believe it was a case where the other ballistics that were sold at the same time as this one just were more colorful with more “wow” factor. I think the Fox kind of got lost in the background and didn’t get a fair shot.

file-sep-14-11-05-19-pm-1

Lush times 2005 description: It’s been a while since we launched a flowery Ballistic so it was high time for a new one, however, the Fox in the Flowers does not have what you’d call a typical floral scent. It’s more like a meadow with grass growing knee high and wild flowers towering above it, or possibly the smell of a very smart florist’s shop. There is much greenery in this scent; much of it comes from the chlorophyll in it, the stuff which makes leaves green. A Fox in the Flowers bath smells green like cut grass, wild flowers, and woodlands. Take one to your bath when you want to feel like Maid Marion washing in a shady pool ready for Robin to get back from a hard day’s wealth redistribution.

Love and Light

See my 4 minute video demo and review below ๐Ÿ™‚ ย 7.95 gbp/$12.25 100g or 14.95 gpb/$22.00 250g

file-sep-13-6-06-52-pm

Debuted in April 2015 This smells like orange blossom and neroli, not orange. It’s light and doesn’t leave a film like some thicker hand creams do.
As far as perfumes, if it came down to two, i like Frozen’s scent as a perfume more than love and light, i explain why in this 4 minute video i made of Love and Light hand cream up close.

Respect Your Elders

5 out of 5 rating

See my short video below, berries!

I love this soap, it smells like elderberries more than elderflower.  It has a black coating and the interior soap color is a gorgeous purple! This soap is right up my alley.

It smells like sweet berries, it smells yummy. It’s not strongly sweet, it’s a just right kind of sweet.

Elderberries

Elderflowers

Elder Berry Wine

Making wine from elderberries is a thing. It’s kind of a cordial.

For Christmas 2016 Lush made three Fun bars. ONE OF THEM CALLED snakes and Ladders had rhe same scent as Lush ‘Respect Your Elders’ soap.

Yoga Bomb

5 out of 5 rating.

see my tub demo video below ๐Ÿ˜Š

This is quite lovely in the tub, having many colors like a rainbow, ultimately turning the bath a golden hue.

Here’s a video i made of the Yoga Bomb in the tub

I love the meditative scent, the rainbow of colors and the golden shimmer in the water. I would buy more than one of these, so i would rate this bath bomb a 5 out of 5 rating.

Yogs Bomb body spray came out a couple of years later, along with other exclusive body sprays.

The Happy Pill

Video below

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid,Perfume, Olive Oil, Hemp Oil , Grapefruit Oil, Bergamot Oil, Frankincense Oil , Lemon Oil , Orange Flower Absolute, Mandarin Oil.

Review: This is one of the best bath bomb I’ve ever tried from Lush If I’m not mistaken. I love the combo of the two Lush products together.  Lush doesn’t do this combining very often.  Lush “Fun with a twist” fun bar comes to mind.

This bath bomb is a slooooow fizzer which is nice because it lasts the whole bath. And it’s more of a foamer than a fizzer.

The combination of the lovely orange “The Olive Branch” shower gel scented side, and the sunny yellow “Happy Hippy” shower gel grapefruit scented side is a FABULOUS scent.

It was actually softening to my skin. I dont’ know, not softening in a “Butterball” way, but in a “bicarbonate” way. Absolutely lovely.

The scent stayed on my skin through the next day.

Noriko with Lush had created this one.

2006 Lush Times description: New shape, new concept, two of our favorite fragrances combined by Noriko to bring a bit of sunshine to gloomy days. Pop a Happy Pill to cheer yourself up, but pop it in the bath instead of a glass of water. The orange side is the mandarin fragrance of Olive Branch and the yellow side is our gloriously grapefruity Happy Hippy. It’ll keep you going until the spring flowers show their smiling faces.

Grass bubble bar

4 out of 5 ratingLush Description: Get Twiggy with it.  Have a field day with this verdant bubble bar.  It’s like cloud watching in a meadow.

Ingredients:  perfume, spring green lustre color, Bergamot oil, Neroli oil, sandalwood

Review:  This bubble bar is made from the scent of their now discontinued shower gel named ‘Grass’. People who love grass shower gel would love this bubble bar as the scent is exactly like the shower gel. It’s not quite an earthy green, or an oakmossy green, like ‘Tramp’, but a nice, spring grass scent.   Not only is it pretty, but it makes the water a gorgeous shade of green.

Fun With a Twist

5 out of 5 rating

They made it out of two favorite bath bombs; “Dragon’s Egg” (the orange twist) and “Twilight” (the purple twist).  The citrus with the tonka and lavender is sooo good.  Who knew these two scents would be so wonderful together.  You can also use just the purple piece or just an orange piece to have a purple or orange colored bubble bar.

Here’s my scent family photo

To me this is Lush being innovative. Not that a Fun bar is an entirely new product but up until the creation of this FWAT Fun Bar all the Lush FUN bars were one solid color and one scent.

It worked SO well in this product. Nice Lush! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Lush Kitchen online made this special FUN bar exclusive which isn’t made or sold anywhere on line or in stores to the public.

Heres a video of it
