Review: This is absolutely wonderful smelling. I smells a nice medium strong jasmine and rose “Sex Bomb” scent. Lush made this with the same sage, rose and jasmine that their popular bath bomb is made with.
This is the first Lush massage bar in the awhile that I’ve made a habit of swiping on my arms as i’m going out the door, because it’s strong enough to wear as a perfume. And the bar is the cutest looking thing ever! I give this 5 stars, for looks, and scent.
If you like florals youll like the scent of Play Your Cards Right.
I love this shower gel. It’s a nice thick consistency. It has great throw so you can smell the lovely scent all while you’re showering with it. It’s lovely scent stays on the skin a bit longer than other lush shower gels.
It’s not particularly moisturizing, and doesn’t have any cocoa butter. Nor does this shower gel have any glitter.
The 29 High Street was made to have the scent of a Lush store. So various lush store favorites are represented here, honey i washed the kids, karma, avobath, etc.
To me it smells like a strong blend of sweet orangey and floral notes.
Because of these things, and also because this shower gel is so rare, I would rate this shower gel a 5 out of 5 rating. I would highly recommend it. I bought six bottles.
Here’s a demo and review video i made of this shower gel
here is a scent family portrait I created, with all the products Lush has made with this same fragrance.
the fun bar below was an exclusive item in a Lush kitchen subscription box.
Ingredients: Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerine, Red Wine, Thyme (Thymus vulgaris), Rose Petal (Rosa centifolia) and Lavender (Lavandula hybrida) Infusion, Propylene Glycol, Fresh Rose Petal Infusion (Rosa centifolia), Perfume, Carrageenan Extract, Synthetic Musk, Jasmine Absolute (Jasminum officinale), Clary Sage (Salvia sclarea), Ylang Ylang Oil (Cananga odorata), White Wine Vinegar, *Benzyl Benzoate, *Linalool, *Limonene, Methylparaben. * Occurs naturally in essential oils
Lush.a.Lot’s Review: This was the shower jelly made which smells like the “Sex Bomb” ballistic. It’s a heady floral scented jelly.
Lush Times 2005 description: Bada Bing Bada Boom Shower Jelly is the ultimate in cold showers. Its sensual scents (the same essential oils as Sex Bomb) are blended with red wine and an infusion of rose petals, soothing lavender and stimulating thyme herb. Grab the Bada Bing from the freezer, clean your body with its cool lather and inhale the calming (aphrodisiac) jasmine, ylang ylang and clary sage perfumes. That should work just nicely.
Here’s a demo and review video i made of this jelly
Lush Times: We’ve developed a cream to keep your bits firm and supple. This blend of cold-pressed, organic oils can keep your knockers, decolletage, stomach and bottom in top nick. The tightening action of meadowsweet and the fragrant, floral boo-kay of orange blossom and rose will give you the loveliest jubblies in town. Cushdy!
This smells like honey and orange flower to me more than anything. It’s lovely. It’s not greasy or anything. And it really does seem to firm things up.
One of six new Lush Oxford Street superstore Gourmet soaps. This one has ingredients from Africa which include honey, pine, frankincense, and jasmine. Here’s a demo video i made of washing with this soap at the sink.
Fever soap (i won a contest so they created this and gave it to me)
Review:The original bar was two toned. Later lush changed it’s appearance to be round and having red lips on top of the bar. Fever smells strongly of rose absolute, but it smells like real roses, as if from a rose bush, or the rose smell of a florist shop. It also has beautiful Jasmine and calming sandalwood. I think it smells like 1950’s lipstick in a good way. In a wonderfulyl heady but addictive way. When I first sniffed this, I didn’t like it. It was waaay too strong for me. I think it was in the 2nd order I made with Lush and I was not used to Lush’s real, non-synthetic fragrances. Now it is one of my favorite bars ever. Later on, Lush made “Hollywood” Christmas bubble bar in the Fever scent by the way and Lush’s “Mirror Mirror” neck cream has the Fever scent also. Fever is absolutely intoxicating. And for you BPAL lovers, Beth’s Tarot: “The Empress” is a dead on ringer for Fever. Both have jasmine, rose and sandalwood.
Fever Bubble bar
Lush Times 2005 description: In the 1950s some new aromas were invented which changed the olfactory shape of perfume for ever. In Fever we’ve used one of them, with some of our favourite floras to produce a fragrance that epitomizes the scent for the 1950s independent women, shaking off traditions and exploring the brave new world. Picture yourself in dark sunglasses, pink lipstick and fitted sweater, scented with rose, warming sandalwood and sensual jasmine, ready to defy convention and enjoy life to the full. Fever is the massage bar to use on the sweet new guy in town to help him to cut loose and get hip.

Here’s a video review of my piece of my Fever.
Original style and newer style Fever massage bars/solid lotion
Also see “Leap Frog” bath bomb, same bomb, different names. This was first made for Valentine’s in the 2009-2011 time frame. I absolutely love everything about this bath bomb. It’s super cute, and the smell is great, and the water is a nice color when he fizzes away. The scent stays on my skin longer than most bath bomb scent. It’s a floral. It’s a multiple floral. Good Lush floral blends are fewer then the fruity or candy scents from Lush, and this is a nice floral. We begged Lush to make a perfume from the bath bomb scent, and they did! It’s called Leap Frog.
Lush Times: Another magical creation by Michelle, Frog Prince is an extremely handsome and regal frog with a pair of vibrantly red and kissable lips. Give him a quick peck, drop him in the tub and wait for your prince to come. Simon’s new fragrance is an aphrodisiac blend with sweet undertones; he used jasmine, neroli and rosewood to create a sensual fragrance for those longing for their prince – or princess – to come. It’s not all about the fragrance with this one, it’s also brimming with cocoa butter and almond oil for a luxuriously moisturising soak.
Jasmine, like the Godiva solid hair shampoo, “Lust” perfume, Flying Fox shower gel VEGAN? No
Not to be confused with another Lush bath bomb also called Floating Flower which is a completely different scent and look.
Lush has made the Floating Flower for Valentine’s Day 2015. It was made before in Japan Lush but had never been released in the UK nor here in the U.S. It is beautiful. See my demo video below
Lush: We’ve cracked a new generation of Bath Ballistic. The Dragon’s Egg is a mystical, powerful force of nature that will change the way you bathe. When you drop these eggs into the water, they crack open to reveal plumes of orange fizz that look like a baby dragon breathing fire as it hatches into the world.
In my photo below are a Dragon’s Egg and an exclusive ‘Mother of Dragons’ XLarge Dragon’s Egg.
Heres a shot of the shimmering gold 😍
In my photo below i show an exclusive Lush ‘Fun With a Twist’ that is half Dragon’s Egg and half Twilight.
Youki Hi is the Lush bath bomb that has the Flying Fox scentim definitely in the minority with my 2 out of 5 rating. Many more Lushies love this scent. Its just too much for me to where it smells gross on me. i guess its just my skin chemistry. 🤷🏻♀️
Ingredients: Honey, Chinese Angelica, Burdock Root and Jasmine Flower Infusion, Hungarian Honey, Greek Honey, English Honey,English Honey, Perfume, Jasmine Absolute , Ylang Ylang Oil, Cypress Oil , Palmarosa Oil
This shower gel is loaded with Jasmine. It has honey in it as well but it is no where near the scent of B Never or other lush honey favorites. It is a strong floral scent. The scent stays on your skin 24 hours later. I find it to be a little too intense smelling. The bath bomb version of this scent is called “Youki Hi“. Also Lush made ‘Cloak of Invisibility‘ bath oil bon bon, “Floating Flower’ bath bomb for Valentine’s 2014 in this same scent, and lush “Godiva” solid hair shampoo also has this scent, as well as Lust perfume.
I love Jasmine blends like Tender is the Night, its one of my top perfumes. But Flying Fox. No. Just no.
LT 2006 Description: Lascivious, licentious, vivacious and insatiable, this is the Sex-Appeal Honey Shower with masses of Jasmine. Contains the finest aphrodisiac essential oils, plus the best three oils for controlling PMS. Use generously all over your body and even wash your hair with it if you dare! To make you smell sexy whether you are going out for the night or just having a night in with a friend.
Here is a picture of a Lush exclusive 2018 Summit bath bomb with the same scent. It’s called ‘Fox’. I got a t shirt of this UK ‘stop hunting foxes’ campaign when i walked in, along with other attendees.
At the Lush store in london called “B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful they sold a perfume line called ‘B scent’. It was always one of my favorite perfumes sold at B Never boutique from 2005-2008. In 2007 Lush made B Electro shower gel in that fragrance. There was a whole line of products with this scent.
I took pics of the products in this scent in my section here called “B Never too busy to be beautiful’.
Here’s a 15 second video i made with my b electro to show consistency, etc.
Later, Lush made a soap in the “B” scent. It was a bright yellow color and it was shaped like the sun. Lush called this soap “B Electro”. a couple of years alter, Lush made a shower gel for forum members only with the scent of our lovely B scent. Lush made our requested shower gel with the same color as the b electro soap, and now we have this shower gel today 🙂
Here below are some previous B scent products that i bought from Lush’ sister company B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful. The original colors of the products in the B scent line were Gold, Black, and Red.
Ingredients: Water, Rose Water, Fennel Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Rose Absolute, Cold Pressed, Jojoba Oil.
B Scent is a fruity floral scent.
It’s a bright, fun scent. It’s brightly fruity and floral, with a teeny bit of a fennel note. Fennel is somewhat licorice-like. Don’t worry if you don’t like licorice, because it’s very blended with the grapefruit and jasmine and doesn’t really stick out as licorice-y.
What mostly sticks out to my nose is the fruitiness of the grapefruit blended with the rose and jasmine, with more emphasis on the jasmine than the rose, then lastly the fennel.

In 2011 Lush Australia made the ‘B Electro’ Divine Whale soap below. I had Laura send me a coue.
A woman who lived in England said she wanted to send me this giant B Electro soap in the shape of a giant sun. She said they were having some kind of celebration in her hometown Lush store and she knew i liked the shower gel so much so she sent it to me all the way from England!
a few years later lush made these products with the same scent:
Perfect Match bubble bar
Dragon Legend bubble bar
Great Wave bubble bar
I roll each color together to get a swirled pice like this. Then i cut them into 1 inch round pieces. Then i can use a round piece for the shower, and one in my soap dish at the sink. And it looks all swirly colored and pretty.
Here’s a video demo i did of Santa Fun bar, showing the various ways you can use it.
I laid one of my something wicked on top if a squeeze of Ectoplasm shower gel. I love green and purple.
Below are two pics ive taken showing how the purple something wicked melt looks in a green sparkly water made from a green lush bath bomb.4 out of 5 rating
The latest addition to this scent family is an exclusive shower bomb (there two in the picture) made in the Lush Labs 2018.
Something Wicked bath melt
From the title of a Ray Bradbury novel/screenplay/movie.
Review: Having a real ginger root scent, and not that of Gingerbread. The ginger is softened by lovely Jasmine and almond oil. This is a good blend of ginger and jasmine. The oakmoss lending that “spooky’ quality from the story of the same name. If it’s a fresh Something Wicked bathmelt you can smell the layers of scent, pretty floral, earthy oakmoss, spicy ginger. That said, i wish there were more scent. I’ve had a few that were stronger and the scent was very nice. But the weaker scented melts have to be brought up to the nose in order to smell them.
Lush UK also made a Something Wicked Lotion and perfume for forum members only in 2009 or 2010. It was SO good.
Lush Times 2006 description: Possibly the Queen of our new bath melt selection. Ginger and jasmine envelope you in a sensual haze of soft, warm, welcoming swirls of glittery, moisturising foam. Wicked in every sense of the word.
It makes a GORGEOUS color pattern in the water if it’s a fresh one, as you can see in my photo below.
This is what the Something wicked melt looked like one year only during halloween 2006, with a dark pink red glitter.
Here’s an 8 second video showing my something wicked perfume.
It was made a couple of times once called Frog Prince and once called Leap Frog.
Not to be confused with the Frog Prince shower jelly of the same name that has a different smell than the bath bomb (that jelly has the Prince Charming shower gel scent)
5 out of 5 ratingSee video below.
There is a Leap Frog perfume too. Lots of us Lushies begged lush to make a perfume from the bath bomb scent because it’s so amazing, and they did make one!
Lush Times: Another magical creation by Michelle, Frog Prince is an extremely handsome and regal frog with a pair of vibrantly red and kissable lips. Give him a quick peck, drop him in the tub and wait for your prince to come. This is a bit heavier than it looks. What a cute idea, dunk the tea bag in the tub for loads of lovely jasmine scented bubbles. it contains tiny blue flower petals, which begin to float around the water. And there is also a pretty white shimmer that lush adds to this one. I thought this might be herbier than it is. I didn’t expect such a pretty floral.
Here is a photo i took of this gorgeous bubble bar. And the video is below this photo.
The Lush Palm Reader solid hand cream was made with the Flowering Tea scent
Lush Description: Escape into relaxation with this bath bomb that gives an impressive display no matter where you are in the world. As the ends fizz away, the middle slowly dissolves to reveal blue and neon green, turning your water into a calming jasmine and ylang ylang-scented swirling night sky scattered with stars.
Review: WOW a blue, pink, and yellow explosion of color, just like the real Northern Lights, coupled with that lovely floral fragrance of their Christmas Eve bubble bar. Ylang ylang and jasmine. Makes the water purple. This is the most incredible show in the water than any other lush bath bomb i can think of.
The newer shorter one makes grayish brown water. 😐
Here’s a demo of the 2016 version in the tub
Here’s a short demo video of this 2015 version close up in the tub, WOW
Review: This is a ballistic made for forum members only for one day, in the “Lily Savon”soap or “Ghost” Lush scent. Plain and simple, it’s lovely. It’s heaven on a stick. I love all the Lily Savon family of products, Ghost shower gel, Lily perfume and this ballistic. I use all of these alot lately.
5 out of 5 ratingLush Times Xmas 2008: Helen Ambrosen’s new favourite thing is to make Shower Jellies in individual moulds, as well as huge wobbly ones. Like our big blocks of Shower Jellies, you can put the individual ones in the fridge or the freezer to give yourself a shock in the shower. Lovely and cooling for hot days, and cheaper than a plunge pool. Ghost unfolds into a shape-shifting ethereal blob, looking a but like Munich’s painting, The Scream. Despite his slightly scary appearance, he softens and calms your skin as he gets you clean. You can either slap him all over your body to make a lather, or detach a little chunk of him and rub it fast and firmly between your hands for a creamy froth. You can use him to wash your hair because his seaweed gel is really good for turning tangles into luscious locks. Wash all over and just like Mr. Ghostie, you’ll be wafting scents of lilies, jasmine and ylang around after you all day. Grab him now before he drifts away…
Review: Ghost shower gel was made to have the “Lily Savon” soap’s scent. It’s a medium strong Lily, jasmine, ylang ylang and neroli scent. It’s not sweet, at all. It’s got a white, tiny, glittery shimmer to it.
This is one of the more beautiful Lush florals even though it’s not as complex as some other Lush floral scents. It smells exactly like Lily Savon soap, and the lily perfume. The scent of the shower gel lasts a long time on the skin.
The new Ghost shower gel bottles that the Lush Kitchen makes will have a black label with white lettering, unlike my original bottle in the picture from 2006, which is the opposite.
Here’s what it looks like above, i show this much clearer in the video below
It’s a thick shower gel. I give this 3 stars.
Other Lush products with the same scent.
Ghost shower gel
Ghost shower jelly
Lily Savon soap
Lily Savon liquid spray perfume
Lucky Cat bubble bar
Moon on a Stick bath bomb
Here’s a video demo i made of this shower gel
heres a scent family photo of mine
It’s a thick shower gel with some white shimmer. I give this 3.5 stars. To answer a couple of questions i got, Just for comparison sake It’s not as sweet as Lush’ other Lily perfume called “Death and Decay”.
Ghost fragrance does remind one of a memory of something that was once here, then gone in a whisp.
recently in 2025 Lush has made another Lily soap with the same Lily Savon/Ghost scent but in the actual shape of a Lily!
